Kuname Manor House is nestled amongst the jackalberry trees on the banks of the Kuvenyami River which runs through the private 9 000 hectare Karongwe Private Game Reserve
Kuname Manor House is beautifully appointed and well-suited to families, featuring two en-suite bedrooms on the lower level, a loft room with two single beds, a kitchen with tea and coffee-making facilities, a dining area, a lounge, an outdoor boma, air conditioning, and a plunge pool.
The Karongwe Game Reserve offers a diverse habitat and is home to the famous Big Five. It is well known for incredible leopard sightings and is also home to fantastic species such as wild dogs, cheetahs, spotted and brown hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, kudu, bushbucks, steenboks, duikers, impalas, waterbucks, black-backed and side-striped jackals, and honey badgers, just to name a few.
Night drives afford the opportunity to see special nocturnal animals such as porcupines, aardvarks, civets, genets, caracals, and servals. Bird watching is phenomenal in this region, with over 365 bird species recorded.
Activities offered at Kuname Manor House include twice-daily open-vehicle game drives led by professional guides, guided bush walks that explore the fauna, flora, and smaller wondrous creatures of the African bush, and spa treatments at the Thera Naka Spa.
Guests can also visit the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, glide through the air above the Sabie River Valley in a hot air balloon, or explore one of South Africa's most scenic routes, known as the Panorama Route.
Kuname Manor House is ideal for families and small groups looking for a private safari experience.

Leigh-Ann Croeser from Safari.com was fantastic
Leigh-Ann from Safari.com was great to work with to plan our group safari trip. She was able to get me on the priority waitlist for a lodge that I liked, which ended up working out for our group during my preferred dates. Leigh-Ann was responsive and provided various tour recommendations for us to decide on the best option for us. There were a few email and name typos from Leigh-Ann that I had to correct, but other than that, I had a great experience.
