Londolozi Pioneer Camp is a luxury camp with superb views of the local rivers, guests experience new levels of beauty and service at Pioneer camp.
Deep in the shade of a cluster of Londolozi's beautiful, 500-year-old Ebony trees, Pioneer camp makes its home in the shade and seclusion of the wonderful Londolozi Private Game Reserve. A luxury camp with superb views of the local rivers, guests experience new levels of beauty and service at Pioneer camp.
Londolozi Game Reserve, a sub-section to the greater Sabi Sand Game Reserve, is geared towards luxury and exclusivity. Spanning an area of 34 594 acres along the western border of the Kruger National Park, and created by brothers and wildlife conservationists Dave and John Varty, Londolozi has also become known internationally as a place dedicated to the principals of ecotourism.
Londolozi Pioneer Camp boasts three exclusive Suites, complete with four-poster king-size beds draped with mosquito netting, an ensuite bathroom with double vanities, a bathtub, and both indoor and outdoor showers; underfloor heating, a lounge area, writing desk, air conditioning, bathrobes, in-room safes, hairdryer, minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, and a deck with a private plunge pool and loungers. Two of the three rooms can become interleading and thus adapt well to different size family travel.
The camp facilities include a lounge, dining area, bar, gym, internet access, kids club, laundry service, spa, curio shop, and a swimming pool.
Big Five sightings are plentiful at Londolozi, with the park specializing in Leopard sightings! The Big Five along with impala, common waterbuck, grey duiker, kudu, bushbuck, nyala, giraffe, and warthog all roam freely. The ever-present Sand River plays home to Cape Clawless Otter and hippo groups, and guests can spot the white-tailed mongoose, African civet and large-spotted genet on a night time safari.
303 bird species call this area home, including white-crested helmetshrike, lilac-breasted roller, brown-headed parrot, emerald-spotted dove and scarlet-chested sunbird, woodland kingfisher, red-chested cuckoo, Wahlberg’s eagle and Crested Francolin. Saddle-billed stork, grey heron, and pied kingfisher gather around the park's waterholes.
The camp activities include twice daily open-vehicle game drives, guided bush walks, tracking, yoga, astronomy lectures, spa treatments, bird watching, and photographic safaris.
Londolozi Pioneer Camp is ideal for honeymooners, families and small groups looking for an exclusive safari getaway.

Sara Van Coillie
Sara Van Coillie, representing Safari.com, has gone above and beyond in assisting with a custom booking for an African safari experience I wanted arranged for my colleagues visiting Namibia for the first time. I highly recommend reaching out to her—she’s a true champion! It’s been a pleasure working with her.

Quick and friendly service
We always struggle to make reservations especially since we book for people with disabilities. Heleen is our "go to person" since she is always friendly, helpful and quick.

This Travel Firm is Ready for You!
We have completed the preliminary reservations with this amazing travel firm. Thank God they exist! We would never have been able to figure out how to put the pieces of our trip to AFRICA together without them. They are patient, caring, detailed, and responsive to communications…something you expect, but do not always receive when service is involved. Connect with them via email if you are even thinking about going to Africa. Cheers!

First time to Cape Town
We are a group of ten friends traveling together to Cape Town for the first time. Safari.com was our top choice for travel agents. Leché and Tracy were incredibly helpful and prompt with our questions and bookings. The trip to Sanbona Wildlife Reserve was fantastic, and everything went off without a hitch. We highly recommend Safari.com for your safari plans!

Safari booking
Fadiel was very prompt in responding to my emails. Despite a double booking for our Safari - not his fault - everything worked out well in the end.
