The spectacular Singita Pamushana Lodge is located in the private Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve. Elevated on a cliff-side, this luxury lodge offers magnificent views over the Malilangwe Dam and surrounding Zimbabwean wilderness. Built to blend into the landscape of mopane forests and ancient baobab trees, the exclusive lodge combines luxurious contemporary design and local Shangaan culture, creating a vibrant and elegant space.
Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge.
Infants under the age of 2 years will be accommodated free of charge. Children aged 2–16 years will be accommodated at 50% of the adult rate when sharing a standard Suite with one adult or another child. A single child accommodated in their own suite will pay the full adult rate. Families of four or more members (including at least one child under the age of 10 years) are guaranteed the complimentary use of a private safari vehicle.
Pamushana is owned by The Malilangwe Trust, a non-profit organization established to conserve the wildlife and habitat of the region and develop the neighboring communities. The reserve covers 135,000 acres of untouched savannah adjacent to the Gonarezhou National Park in southeastern Zimbabwe. It is home to a variety of bird species, wildlife, and many ancient rock art sites.
The accommodation at Pamushana includes four one-bedroom suites, one two-bedroom family suite, one three-bedroom family suite, and a five-bedroom villa.
All the Suites are decorated in vibrant colors and showcase Shangaan artwork on the walls. Each suite features spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, double-sided fireplaces, Swarovski telescopes, private viewing decks, and plunge pools.
Singita Pamushana also offers a spacious five-bedroom Villa that can accommodate up to 10 guests. The villa features en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, an additional staff flat attached to the villa, a comfortable living area opening onto an expansive viewing deck, and a rim-flow pool.
The lodge’s main facilities include a comfortable lounge, convivial bar, indoor and outdoor dining areas, library, wine cellar, fireplaces, two heated swimming pools with loungers, and an elevated viewing deck offering spectacular views of the bushveld.
The chefs at Singita Pamushana prepare African-inspired gourmet meals, served indoors, on the deck, or in the bush. Private candle-lit dinners can also be arranged.
For relaxation, guests can enjoy a Jacuzzi, spa, and yoga room. More active guests can take advantage of the lodge’s mountain bikes, two tennis courts, or the nearby golf course.
Pamushana Lodge offers a wide range of activities. Guests can look forward to morning and late afternoon-into-evening game drives led by professional guides and trackers, black rhino tracking, secluded hides near waterholes for close-up animal and bird watching, guided nature and bird-viewing walks, visits to local rock art sites, boat cruise safaris, community visits, and tiger-fishing trips.
Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve is teeming with birds and wildlife, including rare and endangered species such as the roan and sable antelope, as well as one of the world's largest concentrations of Black rhinos. More than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the area, including many raptors.
