The romantic 1920s-styled Singita Sabora Tented Camp is located in Northern Tanzania within the magnificent 350 000 acre Grumeti Game Reserve. The Grumeti concession, which is managed by Singita, was created to preserve the Serengeti Mara ecosystem and protect the path of the annual wildebeest migration.
Children aged 10 years and over are welcome at the lodge. All safari activities are tailor-made to suit each family. However, in the interest of safety, the participation of children in game activities is at the discretion of your guide.
Singita Sabora Tented Camp is elevated to offer 360-degree views of the wildlife-abundant plains and the world's largest annual animal migration. Around two million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles make their way north into Kenya's Masai Mara, passing through the Grumeti and Serengeti reserves.
Sabora offers nine opulent Bedouin canvas tents that feature spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, antique mahogany travel chests, Persian rugs, traditional Maasai blankets, and various antiques and artifacts. The tents open onto the plains where day beds are scattered, providing perfect spots for relaxation and incredible game viewing.
The lodge facilities include a sparkling swimming pool, spa, gym, lounge with television, boutique and gallery, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi access. Note that due to the remote location of the lodge, internet connectivity can be slow and intermittent.
Activities offered at the lodge include daily morning and afternoon game drives led by professional guides. Afternoon drives extend into the early evening, offering opportunities to spot rare nocturnal species of the African bush. For more adventurous travelers, walking safaris provide close-up encounters with the smaller, wondrous creatures of the bush. Additional activities include stargazing, community visits, swimming, board games, and archery, which can all be arranged.
Accommodation, return airstrip road transfers, all meals, beverages (excluding connoisseur wines and French champagne), twice-daily game drives, tennis, telephone calls, and laundry service.
Transfers, additional excursions, connoisseur wines, French champagne, items of a personal nature, park fees, and the tourism development levy.
