Kokerboomkloof is Afrikaans for the succulent, Quiver tree and the gorge it is set in. The camp is rustic and is amongst some of the best rock formations in the Richtersveld, snuggled close to massive boulders. The immense vastness and tranquil surroundings make it one of the world's most majestic nature destinations.
Camp sites have no power point, shower or wash facilities, a dry toilet is available. Very rustic. Water not safe to drink, guests need to bring along their own water. The nearest water point is Richtersberg (32km away). Access through Sendelingsdrif.
Guests can enjoy self-drive routes, a particular treat during the park's amazing flowering season, walking trails in the park conducted over different time periods, and stunning bird watching with en estimate of 200 species.There are no facilities at this camp
