Legend suggests that, Satara Restcamp owes its name to an old map drawn up by an anonymous Indian surveyor who. The surveyor marked the area that is present-day Satara with the Hindi word 'satra', which means 17. Satara camp is known as one of the best location for wildlife viewing, including the Big Five.
Satara Camp offers thrilling adventure, including guided bush walks and game drives, led by experts trackers and guides.
