Richtersveld Transfrontier National Park is equal parts authentic bush getaway, and historic charm, with Sendelingsdrif Rest Camp at the meeting point between nature and man-made history. Self-catering, and constructed in a style reminiscent of the area's mining history with stunning views and easy access to a wealth of stunning sights. This camp is the meeting point of Ais-Ais Hot Springs and the Richtersveld. 4x4 or high clearance vehicles only

Guests can enjoy self-drive routes, a particular treat during the park's amazing flowering season, walking trails in the park conducted over different time periods, and stunning bird watching with en estimate of 200 species.
Guests have access to a filling station and small general store, both of which are open on weekdays only. There is currently no ATM facility, shop or restaurant available in the Park. Guests are advised to bring their own supplies that will last for the whole duration of their stay
Sendelingsdrif's restored pontoon provides a convenient crossing point the Garib (Orange) River into Namibia.
Regulations are as follows:A valid PassportThe pontoon carries a maximum capacity of 6 Metric Tones or:• 2 standard 4x4 vehicles without trailers• 1 standard 4x4 vehicle with trailer• 2 standard light motor vehicles with trailers• 1 bus with a seating capacity of less than 20
