Explore the world-famous Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, where you will get the chance to lay your eyes on several of Africa's Big Five as well as the smaller wonders of the bush. Your safari adventure begins with a flight from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport. On arrival, you are transferred to the luxurious Arathusa Safari Lodge for check-in.
Depending on your arrival time, you may venture out on your first-afternoon game drive in search of wildlife, including the Big Five. Game drives are approximately three and a half hours to four hours long, with a sundowner stop while looking at the majestic sunset. You return to camp in the early evening to enjoy a perfectly prepared meal under the African sky.

Arathusa also offers additional activities such as informative wildlife talks, a tracker’s course, visits to the Shangana Cultural Village, and traditional dance performances.
In the afternoon, embark on another thrilling game drive to further explore the diverse flora and fauna of the region, before preparing for yet another delightful dinner.

This morning you venture out on your last game drive in the African bush before returning to the lodge for breakfast. You will have some time to freshen up and pack up your belongings before saying your goodbyes and transferring to the airport.

First time to Cape Town
