This 8-day tour explores the capital city of Nairobi, the Amboseli National Park which offers spectacular views of Tanzania's Mt Kilimanjaro, and the Masai Mara National Park which is known for its annual Great Migration.

Your adventure begins deep inside the Nairobi National Park with an overnight stay at Nairobi Tented Camp, the only camp situated within the park. Your time is spent exploring Kenya's oldest reserve, well known for its Black Rhino Sanctuary and sightings of lions, leopards, hyenas, and other fascinating wildlife.
Your journey continues to the Amboseli National Park, often regarded as the best place in Kenya to see elephants at close range. You will spend two nights at the award-winning Porini Amboseli Camp, which is located in the private Selenkay concession, affording guests incredible game viewing opportunities during game drives that venture off the beaten track.
After an exciting safari experience in Amboseli, you head to the vast 90,000-acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a pristine wildlife area between the Aberdares and the majestic Mount Kenya. The conservancy is home to a variety of animals including the Big Five. It is the largest wildlife sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino and also provides sanctuary to rescued chimpanzees. You will spend two nights at Porini Rhino Camp, an intimate bush camp designed to have minimal impact on the environment.
Your safari adventure then takes you to the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, a pristine and exclusive 33,000-acre wilderness. This large area borders the Masai Mara National Reserve and is home to an abundance of animals, particularly the big cats which the Mara is well known for. Typically, during the months of July through early October, the Masai Mara is most popular for the Great Migration.
When not out exploring the African bush, you will spend your time at the intimate Porini Lion Camp, a camp that offers a genuine "away from it all" experience deep in the African bush. During your two-night stay at Porini Lion Camp, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a hot air balloon safari that offers spectacular views of the reserve.

Your safari adventure begins today as you arrive at Nairobi Wilson Airport, where you will be met and transferred by road to your camp.
Depending on your time of arrival, you may experience your first game drive in the Nairobi National Park. The reserve inhabits 100 mammal species, including buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, baboon, zebra, wildebeest, cheetah, and guaranteed sightings of rhino. There is also the opportunity to see over 500 migratory and endemic bird species.
After an exciting safari, you will return to camp for drinks and exchange stories around the campfire before dinner under the vast African star-lit sky, ultimately retreating to the comfort of your bed in your cozy tent.

This morning, you bid farewell to Nairobi as you transfer back to Wilson Airport for an early morning flight to Amboseli. On your arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp.
After settling into your suite and enjoying a sumptuous lunch, you will venture out on an afternoon game drive. Selenkay Conservancy, to the north of Amboseli National Park, is an important dispersal area for wildlife migrating through Amboseli. Rare animals seen in the conservancy frequently include caracal, African wild cat, serval cat, genet cat, honey badger, and striped hyena.
The next day is spent on scheduled day and night game drives within the Selenkay Conservancy and the Amboseli National Park. Night game drives are perfect for seeking out the nocturnal animals inhabiting the Selenkay Conservancy.

After walking with the Maasai warriors to a local Masai village, sit down to a sumptuous breakfast before gathering your belongings and traveling by road to Amboseli Airport for your scheduled flight to Nanyuki Airstrip. On arrival, you will transfer by road to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy where you will check into camp.
This late afternoon, you will set off in an open-sided 4x4 vehicle for your first evening game drive in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
The next day will be spent on day and night shared game drives, escorted walks, sundowners, a visit to Baraka the Black Rhino & Information Centre, and a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

This morning, you bid farewell to Porini Rhino Camp as you travel by road to the Nanyuki Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. On arrival, you will transfer by road to the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy.
You venture out this afternoon on a night game drive within the Conservancy in search of the Mara big cats and other nocturnal species.
The next day is spent on morning and night game drives exploring the pristine wilderness of the Masai Mara National Reserve and the private conservancy. If you are traveling during the months of the mammal migration, Porini Lion Camp is the ideal base from which to witness this spectacle.
You will also have the opportunity to enjoy guided bush walks that are sure to heighten your senses, or if you are feeling adventurous, perhaps an exhilarating hot air balloon safari would do the trick.

After one final game drive and a hearty breakfast, you will gather your belongings and bid farewell to Kenya as you fly back to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Here, you will connect with your onward travel arrangements.

Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls, and Chobe National Park
