Closer to nature in the Kruger with Honeyguide Khoka Moya, a unique African Bush Experience
Enjoy a "Top Glamping in Africa experience" with a 5-day stay at Honeyguide Khoka Moya, located in the Greater Kruger - The Manyeleti Private Game Reserve. Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp is an authentic luxury tented safari camp, located on the banks of a river in South Africa's Greater Kruger region. It is positioned beside a riverbed and overlooks the pristine bushveld.
All safari lodges in the Manyeleti Game Reserve are privately owned and make use of the land on a concession basis. With only seven lodges in the reserve and more than 200 kilometers of gravel roads, you can expect to have this game reserve pretty much to yourself.
The Manyeleti Private Game Reserve is a prime safari destination, sharing unfenced borders with the world-renowned Kruger National Park, Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, and the Timbavati Game Reserve. Honeyguide Khoka Moya was designed to offer guests an authentic tented safari experience and phenomenal game viewing.
Today you depart from Johannesburg's OR Tambo Airport to Hoedspruit Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your camp for check-in.
The luxurious tents at Khoka Moya offer outdoor decks that are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the wide-open channels spread in front of the camp, inviting guests to discover a world full of adventure. Interiors are Scandinavian and minimalist. Facilities include a restaurant, a bar, an observation deck, a waterhole, a shop, and a pool area. Wildlife moves freely as there is no fencing. Elephants are seen near the tents daily, and lions are heard roaring at night.
In the late afternoon, you will head out with your guide and tracker for an afternoon game drive through the reserve in search of wildlife, including the Big Five. The 23,000-hectare nature reserve, known as Manyeleti, is an unspoiled safari "island," sharing an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park and is home to Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp.
A sumptuous dinner under the stars awaits you when you return to the lodge.

Your stay at Honeyguide revolves around a daily routine of exciting safaris and exploring the bush.
Game drives are conducted twice a day in special 4x4 safari vehicles. The safari guides possess vast knowledge about all that lives and grows in the area and are eager to share it with you. Morning game drives usually start around half past five in the morning, taking you deep into the large Manyeleti concession. During the drive, you will stop for a much-needed cup of coffee and light refreshments. Return to camp for a delicious breakfast and, afterward, unwind. You may choose to retire to the privacy of your tent, browse through the small in-house library, or relax by the poolside.
Another game drive starts around half past three in the afternoon and continues just after dark. This allows you to spot nocturnal animal species, an exciting experience.
After the day in the bush, return to the lodge to enjoy superb cuisine and service excellence.

Great service from Denise at Safari.com
Denise from Safari.com was extremely helpful. She responded promptly, provided good advice on safari lodgings options and worked up a couple of itinerary options to suit our budget. Denise also organised flights and transfers very quickly so that we could finalize our booking in a short time. Much appreciated.
