Why

Amakhala Game Reserve is a stunning wildlife destination located in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and more. Visitors can enjoy game drives, bush walks, and night drives, as well as a variety of other activities such as bird watching, fishing, and cultural tours. When

In Amakhala, the wildlife viewing is good all year. Since the climate is semi-arid, animals are always attracted to water sources – but marginally more so during the driest months of June through September. Nights become very cold at this time, making it essential to bring warm clothing for game drives in open vehicles.
