Sussi & Chuma nestles on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River just 12 kilometres upstream from the iconic Victoria Falls, and alongside Zambia’s Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Set amongst Jackalberry trees and Phoenix palms, the exclusive Sussi & Chuma offers panoramic views of the islanded-dotted river. The soothing sounds of the gently rushing river add to the relaxing ambience of this luxurious lodge, and the sumptuous accommodation and personalized attentive service assure a memorable and superbly comfortable stay.
Accommodation is available in twelve spacious Sussi Tree-Houses, connected by wooden walkways, and two secluded Chuma Houses, each with two bedrooms.
The Tree-Houses are built within a canopy of impressive ebony trees along the scenic riverbank. Each Tree-House features an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, air conditioning, a mini-bar, mosquito nets, overhead fans, a hairdryer, and a private viewing deck.
The two exclusive Chuma Houses are private, self-contained homesteads offering one double and one twin en-suite bedroom. The double room includes an additional outdoor shower. Other features of these houses include a lounge with a fireplace, spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, a well-equipped kitchenette, an outdoor verandah with a barbecue area, and a private swimming pool. Guests at the Chuma Houses also enjoy the services of their own private chef, guide, vehicle, and boat.
Canopy-level walkways connect the Tree-Houses to the elevated thatched main lodge. The lodge facilities include a bar, lounge area, wine cellar, open-air dining area, boma, spa, swimming pool, and a viewing deck.
Sussi & Chuma offers a variety of exciting activities, including game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park to view a range of wildlife, sunset river cruises, walking safaris, fishing, and guided excursions to the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls. Guests also have the opportunity to participate in cultural tours of Livingstone and the Maramba Village. The lodge supports the Nakatindi Community School, which provides education to over 400 pupils, many of whom are orphaned. Guests are invited to visit the Nakatindi Village and school, making for a heartwarming and enriching experience during their stay.
For adrenaline enthusiasts, the lodge arranges activities such as white-water rafting, elephant-back game viewing, bungee jumping, microlighting, jet-boating, and the "Flight of Angels," a scenic helicopter ride over the iconic Victoria Falls.

Great advice, responsive and knowledgeable!
Pascal John at Safari.com guided me on different safari lodges (experience, rating), and most importantly knew about specials (buy 3 nights, get 4th for free) which allowed my family to secure a 5-star location at a more reasonable rate. Great advice, responsive and knowledgeable!
